Member Thomas Foster reports the capture of a pretty good perch on the canal.

Weighing-in at 2lb 8 ounces. And in perfect condition.

I caught this lovely perch on Sunday (12^th September) just by the Chequers Bridge in Crookham Village.

I was using a ball of red maggots on a size 16 hook.

I had to wait for two hours for the bite and it was the only catch of the day.

It just shows what good health the Canal is in to be able to pull out a Perch of this quality!!
