Young member William Crowdy (13) proudly holds a monster from the deep – A 17-pound pike caught on the canal in the Pirbright area (OK the canal is not very deep, but its certainly a monster fish!).

William is a regular angler along the canal, and has caught a number of excellent pike over 15 pounds, as well as plenty of smaller fish.

This one was caught on float-fished spratt.
