Les Vaughan catches his first canal carp
– a fabulous 12 pound 6 ounce mirror carp.
(Might almost be a leather looking at
the photo).
Les came back to fishing in 2008 after
many years away from the sport.
He has been trying to get a carp out of
the canal ever since,
and he’s finally done it right near the
end of the season.
This one came out from Great Bottom
