Member Tony Pead reports catching a very good specimen pike at Great Bottom Flash in early December 2007.

Hi there, I caught the pike pictured below on Sunday (2^nd December 2007) at Great Bottom Flash (near Ash Vale Railway Station).

It weighed in at 15 pounds and 7 ounces, and put up an amazing fight.

It was also in immaculate condition, which was really great to see.

Could you put this on the website, because I have noticed that there are not too many recent pictures, and I would like people to know the quality of fish which can be caught on the canal.
