Golden peg

All BCAA Opens (except Burtoo series) will contain a Golden Peg payout. £1 from each angler will go towards the Golden Peg Pool (GPP). TWO pegs will be drawn before the main draw to decide the eligible pegs. If an angler wins the match from one of these pegs then they will be awarded the GPP as it stands for that match. If the GPP is not won it will be carried over to the next match and so on until it won. The GPP will be limited to £500 and a new GPP will be started from the entrance fees. At this stage 'Four' pegs will be drawn as Golden Pegs until such time as the £500 pool is won. Should the GPP not be won on the last match of the season then a draw will be held for those anglers in attendance and having fished in at least 10 GPP matches. 2 prizes will be drawn for.
